| Disability Support Officer Employment and Training |
Quest employs approximately 100 Disability Support Officers in our Casual Pool of staff. You do not need any formal qualifications to apply for this position but you will be required to attend a paid pre employment training course which is conducted on a regular basis.
To apply for this position, it is essential that in an interview with Quest staff you demonstrate that you : |
| have the right attitude to care for people with a disability, |
| have a valid drivers licence, |
| are able to successfully pass a police check and |
| are medically fit to undertake the duties required of a Disability Support Officer level 1. |

| Candidates must be committed and passionate about supporting clients in all areas of care including: |
| Personal care |
| In home respite |
| Lifestyle and Recreational Programs |
| Transitional Programs |
| Group based and individual services |
|
| Quest believes it is emphasis on training, support and ongoing assessment provided to all Disability Support Officers (DSO's) that has ensured the provision of a reliable and quality service that maintains a strong client focus. Our DSO's are committed to assisting people with disabilities to be as independent as possible. |
